The volunteers of Oregon Outback Humane Society are dedicated to helping you and your pet stay together. We emphasize proactive solutions to keeping your pet hapy and healthy and right where they want to be, with YOU!
We realize that situations do arise requiring you to look for a new home for your pet. Please realize that you are your pets best chance at finding a new home. Owner surrenders are accepted, but because of limited foster space you may be asked to keep your pet until a new home is found through OOHS or until we can transfer your pet to a cooperating animal rescue or shelter.

Pet food and supplies are distributed on a first come first serve basis in Lakeview, Paisley and Christmas Valley once per month.We are currently working on setting up a regular schedule for distribution and dates-times are subject to change. The following is the schedule for May 2010.
Lakeview - May 13th - Town of Lakeview Parking Lot - Time TBA
Paisley - TBA
Christmas Valley - May 21st - Food Share Building - Time TBA
In order to participate, you must have the a current Pet Food Share Agreement and Pet Food Share Survey on file. Your pets must be altered or in the process of geting altered to participate. Please consider applying for help through our Spay and Neuter Program.
