Welcome to Oregon Outback Humane Society!

  be a hero

Thank you for considering adopting your next pet from OOHS. Our goal is to find permanent, loving homes for all animals entrusted into our care. We do not want these animals to experience homelessness again or be passed from home to home. This is why we take our responsibly seriously when evaluating potential homes, We want YOU to be happy with the companion you adopt and we want to see each of the animals we care for appreciated for who they are and loved no matter what.

The whole family needs to be involved in the decision making process. Our volunteers will work with you to find that perfect match. We know these animals and if you do not get the opportunity to adopt the animal you applied for, it may simply mean that the animal you are interested in is just not the right one for you. It does not necessarily mean you are not a good home for a pet, it probably just means your lifestyle and expectations do not match the animal you may have applied for. Rest assured, the perfect pet for your family is out there. Just be patient and honest about your ideal companion.
